Alderson Elementary students created these around Mother's Day. Students learned about "family trees", painted the tree trunk, and glued crumpled tissue paper for the cherry blossoms. I suggest using tempera paint for easy clean up and liquid Elmers glue for the tissue paper. This is also a great opportunity to teach students that a little dot of glue can go a long way!
